Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre’s (MCEC) kitchen played host to an exclusive menu tasting on Wednesday 15 April for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, with a select number of guests trialing the incredible degustation menu for the 2015 Starlight Five Chefs Dinner in Melbourne.
On Thursday 21 May hundreds of others will also have the opportunity to experience the sensational five course menu matched with the finest wines, while they listen to remarkable stories of inspiration and hope in a beautifully themed room with first-class entertainment.
This year Melbourne’s Starlight Five Chefs include George Calombaris (The Press Club), Guy Grossi (Grossi Florentino), Scott Pickett (Estelle & Saint Crispin), Shaun Presland (Saké Restaurant) and Adriano Zumbo (Adriano Zumbo Patissier). MCEC’s Executive Chef Tony Panetta will also provide the nights canapés.
This will be the fourth year in a row MCEC have hosted and sponsored the Starlight Children’s Foundation major fundraiser in Melbourne, and the team are looking forward to delivering a spectacular event in an effort to support Australia’s seriously ill children.
